At the AED Idea Center in Washington, D.C., illuminated backlit glass columns at full height were created with GPI’s Infuse™ LED Backlighting System. Careful detailing of the structural system and corner construction ensures that the columns form an even plane of light from corner to corner. Specialty light diffusers were designed to blend the light over the expansive glass panels, creating evenly backlit glass columns as a compliment to the modern architecture.
