GPI Design completed the design, engineering, fabrication, and turnkey installation of illuminated elevator wall panels at 225 West Wacker in Chicago. The feature utilizes DURA-Lite™ Glass Backed Natural Stone Panels paired with the Infuse™ Complete LED Backlighting System to create a striking architectural focal point.
Engineered with a custom structural support system, the installation showcases Irish Green marble as the basis of design, highlighting the stone’s rich color and natural veining through uniform, high-performance illumination. The result is a seamless blend of engineering and craftsmanship that enhances the building’s modern interior.
